1. General Provisions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the rental of bicycles and e-bikes ("Bikes") provided by Kisima Investment Group s.r.o. ("Company", "we", "us") through the Ahoj Bikes Prague platform ("Website"). By making a booking or using our services, you ("Customer", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms in full.

2. Rental Agreement

A rental agreement is formed when the Customer completes a booking on the Website and receives an order confirmation. The agreement covers the rental of one or more Bikes for the specified rental period, starting and ending at our pickup location at Náměstí Republiky 1, Praha 1, Czech Republic.

The Customer must be at least 18 years of age to enter into a rental agreement. By booking, the Customer confirms they hold a valid form of identification and are physically capable of operating the rented Bike safely.

3. Bike Categories & Brand Disclaimer

Our fleet is organised into categories (e.g. E-Bike Foldable, Bike Premium Gravel, etc.). The performance, quality, and specifications described for each category are guaranteed. However, the specific brand or model provided within a category may vary depending on availability. The Company reserves the right to substitute a bike of equivalent or superior quality within the same category.

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices are displayed in Czech Koruna (CZK) and are inclusive of applicable taxes. Rental prices are calculated per day based on the selected rental duration:

1 Day: Standard daily rate
2+ Days: Reduced daily rate — applies from the second day onwards
5+ Days: Best daily rate — applies from the fifth day onwards

A flat Delivery & Collection Fee of 250 CZK applies to every order, regardless of the number of bikes hired or the total order value. This fee covers delivery of the bike(s) to the Customer's specified address and collection at the end of the rental period.

Payment may be made online via Stripe (credit/debit card) or in cash upon delivery. For cash payments, the Customer must have the exact amount ready in CZK when our courier arrives with the bike.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the rental start date are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the rental start date are non-refundable. No-shows are treated as cancellations within 48 hours. To request a cancellation, please contact us at [email protected] or via WhatsApp at +420 730 497 007.

6. Customer Responsibilities

The Customer is responsible for the Bike from the time of pickup until its return. The Customer agrees to:

Use the Bike only for its intended purpose and in accordance with Czech traffic laws
Wear the provided helmet at all times while riding
Secure the Bike with the provided lock whenever left unattended
Not sublet, lend, or transfer the Bike to any third party
Return the Bike in the same condition as received, normal wear and tear excepted
Report any damage, accident, or theft to the Company immediately

7. Damage & Loss

In the event of damage to or loss of the Bike, the Customer will be liable for the cost of repair or replacement at current market value. A damage assessment will be conducted upon return of the Bike. The Company reserves the right to charge the Customer's payment method on file for any outstanding amounts.

8. Liability

The Company is not liable for any personal injury, property damage, or loss suffered by the Customer or any third party arising from the use of the rented Bike, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable Czech law. The Customer uses the Bike entirely at their own risk.

9. Data Protection & Privacy

The Company processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Czech data protection legislation. Personal data collected during the booking process (name, email, phone number) is used solely for the purpose of fulfilling the rental agreement and communicating with the Customer. Data is not shared with third parties except as required to process payments (Stripe) or comply with legal obligations. Customers may request access to, correction, or deletion of their personal data by contacting [email protected].

10. Cookies

Our Website uses cookies to improve user experience and analyse site traffic. By continuing to use the Website, you consent to our use of cookies as described in our cookie notice displayed on your first visit. You may withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Czech Republic. Consumers residing in the EU may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

12. Amendments

The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. The current version of the Terms is always available on this page. Continued use of the Website or our services after any amendments constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
